3) Describe problem: in ie when a page opens the menu always is expanded in the awards & presentation section . . .

in firefox or on my desktop i don't have this issue . . .

i figured it out - i had to change one of the paremeters . . .

defaultexpanded: [0], //index of content(s) open by default [index1, index2, etc]. [] denotes no content.

changed to:
defaultexpanded: [], //index of content(s) open by default [index1, index2, etc]. [] denotes no content.
