HELP: drop down menus not showing up

3) Describe problem:

I am adding Cube Cart to my site and have been working on integrating it into my main website template/theme. To do so i am creating my own cube cart skins/templates.

I have the script links and menu links added to the index.tpl file under the global folder (for anyone who isn't familiar with cube cart this file holds all the header information for all pages. And i have the files copied over to folders. The script is working fine for the most part as it is able to access the external HTML file containing the menu and display it on the page and i am able to click on links to navigate.

However, the menu doesn't display any of the drop down menus for the menu items items!!!!!

You can see the script implemented CORRECTLY at www.accelerated-pc.com and as you can see the menu items with drop downs are displayed properly.

If you goto www.accelerated-pc.com/store/ you will see the menu and the main items work but their respective drop downs dont!

***UPDATE***

I sort of solved my problem. I was messing around figuring that it was something with cube cart that was blocking the script or something. After hours of messing with configuration files i gave up and started working on another file to realize the menu worked on that page. I looked into it and found that there were three scripts that were not being used on that page that were on the index.tpl file.

Those three scripts where part of lightbox that displays the item images. I narrowed it down to the prototype.js file that was causing the problems with the menu for some reason. So i commented it out for the time being.

So if you go the my site any and all pages have the menu correctly displayed.

Does anyone know what could be in the prototype script that could cause issues with the smooth menu script's rendering of the drop down menus?
