i found your caldener funktion on :http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex7/jasoncalendar.htm and I really like it!

How can i post the day selected in the format: mm-dd-yyyy? (I don't need like in the example a popup with a send button. IS this possible?

Read Step 2 and the "Additional Information" about the third argument to DateInput. Choose your format from the third argument's documentation and apply it to the code from Step 2.
