To fully stop the animation from building up is more complex, but try the following simplified version which hopefully minimizes the issue. Use the attached modified .js file.

thanks for the response - although the script does minimize the issue it does not fully resolve it so, unfortunately, I cannot use it - please keep me posted incase there is a better way around this.
