Hi everybody!

This is the first time I've ever had a problem with anything from dynamic drive.. but I'm completely stumped with this problem.

I recently made this website: http://www.steveotway.com

...which uses the DOM Image Rollover script (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex15/domroll.htm) for the buttons on the right hand side.

In firefox (on both mac and pc) it appears fine, and in the IE from 2 different sources it works aswell.

But then I was checking it on my flatmates laptop, and the bottom 3 button don't appear! How can that be?!

In terms of the scripting all the buttons are in seperate <div>s because I wanted to position absolutely, and all I was copy and paste each <div> then changed the left: and top: values.

Can anyone take a look at my code and see something I can't?
(code for the buttons is in http://www.steveotway.com/footer.html)

So on two computers it works fine in IE but on another computer half the buttons don't even show up? Which versions of IE are these three computers using? And what's the operating system on the misbehaving laptop?

ok so i'm sorry for wasting your time Jesdisciple but it seems the problem has worked itself out..

i upgraded my IE to version 8, the same version the offending laptop was using, and it worked.

so i rechecked on the bad laptop and it... also worked. :p

i think the only explanation is that there was some problem loading the mouse-over image gifs, which i would throw up to a problem with the server my website is hosted from...

thanks anyway!!

Well, I would still want to solve the problem because some users lag behind on IE upgrades. Before 8 came out, 5 and 5.5 had thinning support from developers; I hope 6 will now be considered ancient enough to forget about.
