View Full Version : No Right Click Alert... problem.

When I view my site pages I keep getting that annoying security alert:

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for more options..."

If you click on the 'x' this message has, it keeps blocking the script. The script only works if you select 'Allow Blocked Content.'

This is a big problem for me and basically defeats the purpose of the script. I tried making frames. I made a banner without the script and then placed the script within the main page content (not the framesource). I still came across this problem.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? I noticed that http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/noright3.htm no security alert comes up and there are no problems... HELP! PLEASE!

Thanks in advance to whoever can help out, and sorry for the enormous length of this.

Semira.

This is because it's a local file. You can either upload it to a host, or give it the rather grandly named mark of the web (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/overview/motw.asp).
