arrow up/down for auto-suggest

i followed the link below to create a google-auto-suggest-like search box:

the tutorial is fine. but when the suggest list shown, user cannot select the items by using arrow up/down keys.

i m now an expert in js programming. could anyone advise me how to implement the up/down keys?
