what is .tpl file format?

I have downloaded some flash template from the web and there is a file, that seems to be main file that compiles everything together, with weird resolution .tpl. Does anybody know what it is and how can I use it inside dreamweaver? :confused:

Normally if I come across a file extension for the first time I use this site to find out more about it http://filext.com/file-extension/TPL, this is the link for .tpl files
