Menu bar Alignment

I got this site http://www.10-8dutygear.com/test.asp any one know how to move the side menu bar all the way to the left there by bringing up my main box so they are level with each other. I have tried using floats and tables, i want to hit my head against the wall several times. Please help if you can. Thanks.

Use this css layout (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/layouts/item/css-fixed-layout-21-fixed-fixed/) (it's from the CSS library). Put your header in the "topsection", your content in the "contentcolumn", your menu in the "leftcolumn", and your footer in the "footer" (well... yeah, duh). You may have to adjust the width of the leftcolumn / margin of the contentcolumn to accommodate the width of your menu.
