Are you looking for a free host or paid host?

o sorry about that! I forgot to put that down. Im looking for free hosts.
I would recommend getting a paid host. They're not expensive, and tend to be greatly superior to free hosts.

just read teh free hosting stuff, it should tell you how to do it there.
They don't, however, seem to know the difference between Java and Javascript. Always a bad sign in a professional web hosting company.

I use and recommend www.gmbwebworks.com Small hosting company with absolutely top of the line service. If you need help getting a script installed in your site or uploaded to the net, they will assist you anytime and everytime-no exceptions. A small site can be hosted for 5 or 6 bucks a month and the support is fast and second to none.
By the way, I am not employed or related to them in any way. I am simply a very satisfied hosting customer.

Another company I have dealt with and still do is www.rightstuffhosting.com I also highly recommend this company and as I said before, I have no connection to this company except as a satisfied customer.
I couldn't find anything on gmbwebworks' site about hosting.
rightstuffhosting has a monthly data transfer limit. It doesn't have much storage, either. And it only has 15 inboxes, compared to the 100 I get with dotservant for more or less the same price.

I found this on the front page: http://www.gmbwebworks.com/hosting.php
If you need 100 inboxes, then I guess this is a better plan for you. I, myself, would not have a need for 100 inboxes for my particular ventures.
Is the company, dotservant you mentioned based in Malaysia?
Thanks for the response.
That plan looks rather good, tucked down out of the way there. How's their uptime?
Malaysia? Erm... I don't think so. They don't mention it. Their prices are in USD.

hmm...it seems everybody has paid hosting services. the only problem is, im a minor, so my parents dont allow me to pay for anything online. Are there any free hosting sites that allow people to use htc files? I have this hilight.htc file I really want to use, but it doesnt work on the site I am using rightnow. I really dont care about whats wrong with the hosting site as long as I can use .htc files.
.htc files are clientside; they should work wherever they're hosted, so long as the visitor is using IE.

What kind of site do you want to host?
Where are you located?
What domain name will you be using?
I may be able to offer you free hosting without having
all kinds of spam showing up in your inbox tommorrow!!!!!
(Major problem with "Free-Hosting"? Companies that "share" info with "Partners".)
