Is there a setting where dreamweaver will not guess a symbol? Like I have 500 documents with micro symbols in them and when i try and convert them to html by bring them into dreamweaver it swaps what should be 50 μl(μl) with 50 ml which although it looks almost the same it mean 2 completely different things. i know i could do it by hand but 500 documents is going to be a bit time consuming didnt know if anyone knew a way even if it was to have the symbol be replaced with the square or ??? at least that i could do a find and replace but these documents use ml and μl throughout so at the present time find and replace would replace all milli's with micros...
