Margin problem.. firefox fine.. i.e not (as usual)

hey all. I'm not a great web designer, i need help with a problem. my site works ok in firefox but in i.e the top border seems to be lower. :mad:
i know its probly a hack but don't know where or what to do. the site for now is...

That's a great looking site (though I can see IE6 has wrecked it). Have you removed all top margins and paddings from the menu UL and LIs?

May also be worth looking at this: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.islands.co.za%2Fdavid%2Findex2.html and this: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.islands.co.za%2Fdavid%2Findex2.html as all those validation errors are bound to cause some quirky behaviour.
