Jquery Menu Question

Hello!

This is a menu I am working with and I am curious about how to set the top level tabs correctly when hovered.

If you look at the example on this page, when you hover the top menu items they turn black.

When you mouse down to the drop down menu options, the black then disappears.

What would be the correct way to get the black to stay active when the drop down menu is being hovered?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, I appreciate that, but I have this nav set and completely customized in a full on working site. It's not a solution to re-do the whole thing.

I am looking for the trick for just this menu. Any ideas? I am trying to compare to the one you sent.
