While I am at it, I also have a need for a another script.

Basing it from : http://www.plus2net.com/php_tutorial/ajax_drop_down_list.php

Would be ideal,

1) I would be utilizing "Name" text input for entering a zip code. I would also like to have it have a selectable "range" (in miles) But if no information is entered... it will still function.

It would operate as follows:

if records for this exist, then (It would populate a STATE) from existing data in a database....and it also "displays" the Qty of items, listed in this state presently loaded into the db.

Then, it populates the NEXT drop down which will contain (CITY) (all exisiting...when a "quantity is present" only....and again, it will show the QTY

There will also be (2) more fields or so from my table, I would like to just display data while doing this also.

2) I have the zip code database already installed, and would need to use "joins" to calibrate it to the other database

3) Paying gig, but I am looking for someone with experience (preferably with BOTH) my posts on this forum.....

The "jist" of what I am doing is actually based on osCommerce, and I am trying to do a localized type of cart...that only shows "stuff" in the catalog module....based on criteria above..

So? I guess OSC experience would be a SIPER PLUS also!! (grin)

I am posting them here, instead of tossing it on Getacoder etc sites...as that's just a waste oif tiem...because up there, everyone can do anything...(laugh)

THX!!!
