All Levels Navigational Menu image rollovers?

3) Describe problem: I know that I can put background images into the CSS, but what if the client wants a non-standard font in the main level menu? (The subs can be verdana.) Would it work if I create image rollover styles in the sidebar.css for each menu item a and a:hover ? Thanks.

Do you basically mean using images for the main menu items themselves? If you do, re-creating the hover effect won't be as easy as just modifying the CSS, as you'll need to change each image itself onMouseover. You'll also lose the dynamically generated arrow images added to the main menu items, plus the menu item remaining selected while the user is over its sub menus.

Thank you for the prompt response. Before getting into all of that, I worked it out so that using a real font instead of an image was acceptable to the project. I really like this script and was glad not to mess with it too much. Thanks again.
