Here's another random thread... :D

Okay, have you ever had a very cold soft drink, perhaps Sprite or Coke, but haven't finished it? You may just leave it where it is. You aren't thirsty. Well, after you've left the cold soft drink where it is for a while, the ice cubes which keep it cool melt. Oh, no! You either want to keep it cold and put it in the freezer for several minute, OR you want to drink it right away (then again, there's the option of throwing it away, but stay with me). Now comes the problem:

 The soft drink tastes like sweetened water.

Then I had an idea. What if you could make ice that was make out of the soft drink itself! Then you can keep it cold, but if it melts, it STILL tastes good! The idea is simple, yet very helpful. What do you think?? :)

If anyone knows of a company which does this, please let me know of its name and such... :D

I had the same idea when I was a kid and I remember I made heaps of Coca Cola ice cubes and I had more frozen Coca Cola than liquid. I don't know if companies make ice cubes like this since it would require them to sell them together with the drink but I have been to some restaurants that have it as an option. What you could do is to buy non-diluting ice cubes that are made of plastic or glass and are filled with water. You put them in the freezer and the water inside freezes but they don't melt inside your drink. They also have cups with a layer of liquid inside of the glass or plastic - same concept as the ice cubes. Always seemed kind of cheap to me though.
