1) Script Title: AnyLink CSS Menu

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/anylinkcss.htm

3) Describe problem:

The menu divs cause an extended margin at the bottom of the page. I have tried repositioning them to the bottom, outside any tags except body, and also below each top menu link.

I can compensate by setting a negative bottom margin for the main page container.

However in Firefox when viewed in an 800x600 window, the links on the top left portion of the page are not active on page load. They become active by moving the mouse around some.

It is definitely caused by the compensation, margin-bottom: -800px; without the margin setting, there is too much bottom margin.

Recognizing that this is a problem that affects a small fraction of a percent of users, it is not critical but annoying.

Also, having to adjust the bottom margin is annoying...

This should be easy to fix actually. Inside your CSS, try adding the line in red below:

.anylinkcss{
position: absolute;
left: 0;
top: 0;
margin-top: -10px;
visibility: hidden;
z-index: 100; /* zIndex should be greater than that of shadow's below */
width: 200px; /* default width for menu */
}
