1) I have a blog on Wordpress.com. I am using the new Vigilance template. My request is to edit the CSS to remove the default author by-line that appears at the top of each and every post. Can it be done on this template? I don't want advice, I need someone actually to do it.

2) I will pay US$ 10 by Paypal. Pl. respond if you are willing to do it.

If I remember correctly, the byline is a div with the class author. If you want to do this with CSS, just add this to your CSS code:

.author {
display:none;
}

Good luck!

Hi Thanks! I'm amazed. That was a quick response within a couple of minutes of my posting!!!

I appreciate the advice. But I need someone to do it for me. As I am totally challenged re. CSS or even html. Thanks once again.

Do you mean that someone should actually log into your account and add the code for you?

That's correct. I have with my limited knowledge tried adding the code but nothing changes. I am not sure whether this particular template (Vigilance) on Wordpress.com allows this modification. So I will need someone to log into my account and do it ... I can be contacted by email : homeoffice2004atyahoodotcom. Thanks.
