Sound on website?

3 Questions...

1. Is there a way to add background sound without useing flash?

2. Is there a way to do script that plays more sounds in different time. Eg. it plays one when the page loads, and than the other one after 30 sec or so, and 3rd one when you leave site?

3. Is there way to do "sound off" button? Without flash!

I'm makeing a non flash site, so that's why I ask...

Sound in web pages is not recommended!
Use it sparingly. It's slow to load and can be annoying.

Thats why I want to use more small (in size and leinght) sound files in different times.
