Featured Content Glider - change "glide" to "fade" ?

Is it possible to replace the "glide" transition to a fade transition? I know there is something in teh code about fading - the toggle (buttons) seem to fade in. Could the main content fade in?

Sure, try the below modified .js file, which fades the contents into view, versus glide.

Is possible add in the same page the slide and the fade effects?
I would like 2 differents object one with the slide effect and the other with the slide effect.
