I'm kinda bouncing around everywhere, but I think I'll stick with IZArc.
tar and bzip2 serve me well... generally the best compression ratio, in my experience.

What the hell, where's WinRAR :O?
Forget WinRAR, where's tar? tar is the archiving software. It's old as ages — far older and more common than any of these Johnny-come-latelies. :p

QuickZip does all (or most - definatelt tar, and rar) those.
