I don't think it would be a good idea to get a laptop if you plan on doing gaming. Laptops have and will always be ment for one thing, work. Ya sure you can play games on them but if you are a hard core gammer then a laptop is not the solution. I'd just froget about a laptop all togeather if you want to do gamming. Get a laptop for work and a killer computer for gamming. That would be your best beat. Take my word on this I know exactly what I am talking about. Besides Laptops are limited in upgradablity. You can do so much more with a computer when it comes to gaming.

I can argue that. Laptops, yes, are mainly meant for work. But if you get a laptop with awesome abilities, say, a 3.0 ghz processor, 9600 graphics card, lotz of RAM and maybe harddrive, then YES, a laptop would be okay for gaming. Since laptops that are less powerful than desktops most of the time cost more, I would indeed buy a desktop either way. The only thing that I like about laptops is that they CAN be like a desktop, but portable, so you can take anything wherever you want. Of course, the abilities that I listed are not normal for a laptop, and are much too pricey if you would actually want them. This makes it unrealistic.

My point is "it depends..."

(my suggestion: get the second one)

The scond one. And if you're REEALLY serious, get the $20,000 maxed-out FragBook.
