Smoothmenu showing up under jQuery Cycle Plugin

I've got a SmoothMenu working fine on a site and have a jQuery based image cycler (http://www.malsup.com/jquery/cycle/) running right below it. Everything works except that the SmoothMenu menus show up under the slide show images. Any way I can force the menus to always be on top?

It should already be, in most browsers. What browser(s) does it go under the slideshow in? I'm guessing IE. In any case, I'd try adding, at the beginning of the ddsmoothmenu.css file:



.ddsmoothmenu, .ddsmoothmenu * {
position: relative;
z-index:100;
}
