how to configure email serveron local computer

i want to configure my computer as a mail server, m using WAMP to coding in PHP n viewing on my local computer, but i dont know how to configure a mail server on my local computer, plz help me by telling the name of that mail server n how to configure it , so that i can do little practice on my local computer....

try this, this was the mail server I was using when I hoted my website on my computer. which I cant do now because I live in the country with icky dialup.
