Hello. I opened the code (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/layouts/item/css-fixed-layout-31-fixed-fixed-fixed/) in «Dreamweaver CS3». The code is displayed incorrectly. What should I do? How to fill out forms?

How is it displayed incorrectly?
Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script or attach your code so we can check it out and help you.
Well, you could always just not use Dreamweaver.

I wouldn't care so much about the design view in Dreamweaver (i.e. don't use it!). You should always test your code in a real browser.

«Internet Explorer 7» opens correctly. Which program to use to edit?

There are quite a few out there, Dreamweaver is fine if you use the code view. Take a look at this thread to find out more:

Good luck!

You're welcome, glad to help! You can go to your first post in this thread, click http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/images/buttons/edit.gif then click Go Advanced and add the Resolved prefix to the thread title. This will let other users know the problem has been solved.
Good luck with your site!

Dreamweaver is a means to creating html/code. That's it, though, and it won't hurt ever if dreamweaver does something strange with the code (it happens a lot when a page gets complex)-- it will be a problem for your live preview, but likely at that point you'll be working in code view anyway, so it's not a big deal. Previewing in your browser will be the real answer, and likewise if it displays correctly in DW it may not in all browsers, so you need to keep an eye out for how the html DW is generating will display when it's actually seen by people-- not what DW claims it will look like because it is often wrong. I like Dreamweaver, but only because I know how to get around these problems (mostly what I just said-- it's good for a preview, but for anything definite look at a real browser).

Note that this is ormal with Dreamweaver; it can't handle complicated CSS, and isplays visual aids (like the dotted lines). Always preview in a Real Browser(tm).
