Had read up on a similar problem on this forum but the problem was with width(mine's with the length of the pages) and I'm a newbie and cannot extrapolate:(
The Urban Grey menu code is causing problems with the site on safari:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/urban_grey_side_menu/
The length(height) of the site somehow becomes absolute when i use the code(in safari).
Photos illustrating the problem can be found here:

and

had tried fiddling with the padding but that wasn't it...
Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script so we can check it out.
Glad to see you asking, but to keep things orgainized ask in the correct section please. In this case the correct section is DD Script Help (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2). A moderator will hopefully move it for you
Please include your code so that we can take a look at it, we can't do much without it.
Please do the above before we can proceed with helping you.
Thanks, Nile.

Why did you post screen shots with nothing to do with your post also? And which of those is what you want? Because those aren't the same either.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. Will re-post if the post hasn't been moved.
Bluewalrus, the screenshots are to illustrate what the site looks like in IE and FF. In IE- the footer is as it should be. In FF, the body for the text and photos becomes of a fixed height and whatever CSS code that spills over, goes beyond the footer, which gets rather ugly.

Hi Bluewalrus,
The guys on the DD forum told me to start again from scratch and it worked. Figured out later it was my trying to specify the width and length of the tables that caused it to look 'off' in ff.
Thanks all!:)
