Linked text jumping

Hi, I have posted a thread about one of my images jumping but it is also happening with the linked menu I have created. I've added a hover in the style sheet so it changes colour which was fine but I've also included a text-transform to capitalise it which is what's making it jump. I think it may be because it is in a table but do not know how to show it otherwise

I've attached my text and style sheet. I'd appreciate any help. Please let me know what you think of the site too as I've only just learned to use HTML this week so would love any feedback!
