page resize on browser window resize

i am new to java script and just start learning few days before but i am highly impressed by it's working but now i have a problem that i am making a website for a company and my monitor resolution is 1440x900px so when i am designing website they fits great on this resolution but when i test them on other resolution like 1024x768 and 800x600 then a scroll bar comes in browser window so i just looking a script that fits my webpage on any resolutions so no scroll bar comes...'

i know that it is possible by using java script easily but i am a newbie so pls help me....
