Accordion Menu Jumping in IE7

3) Describe problem: When there is no submenu in each level, the menu will jump like it is trying to display the menu. This is very disconcerting. Can it be fixed somehow? This is mostly occuring in IE7 but as client and 70% of the masses use this, then that is what most people will see. The effect can be seen in Chrome and Firefox too (but is much smaller in jumping).

Ok, so tried something and it works a bit better.

I changed the class that the H3 gets to something other than headerbar and ensured that there was a matching class that looked like the rest of the menu.

Now though, the menus won't collapse when they aren't hovered over.

Is it a case of I can have non-collapsible menus but they don't jump around

OR

collapsible menus that jump around in IE?

any ideas anyone?
