Hello,
The menu works beautifully, accept it does not appear until the REST of the page loads. How can I change this so it loads first? I Got some input on this previously, but nothing has worked.

Thanks.

Recalling from memory, this menu uses the "onload" trigger. Unless there is another way to start the script, before it has finished loading, then this isn't possible.

Try compressing any images on your page, to reduce load time.

So is there a script you recommend that does load first? Perhaps a less cumbersome menu (although I love Jim's DHTML).

Thanks.

Well, putting this menu in a frame will help with the load time but, can give rise to other problems because the menu will not drop down across frame borders. A similar menu that will drop across frame borders is HV Menu v5.5 (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/index.htm). If your menu does not require so many levels of nesting, there are a number of menus listed on this page (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/) that will load faster. Some may not be 'ready for use' until the page loads but, will at least be visible before then and won't give status messages like Jim's does.
