Hello my name is Silvio and I have a question about a drop down menu the Iím using for images that I am doing for a website. I put a script so that when the view rolls the mouse over the navigation that a menu drops down and give the view more links for other pages. My question is, is it possible to give that drop down box a transparent background and if it is how can you do it. I have tried to simply erase the color code for the background which it worked but then you are not able to select the links the are in that menu that drops down. I would like to know it its possible for this to work.

Probably possible. If you are lucky, using 'transparent' for the background color will work. It is hard to say without seeing the code and the markup:

Try this:

<style type="text/css">

#dropmenudiv{
position:absolute;
border:1px solid black;
font:normal 12px Verdana;
line-height:18px;
z-index:100;
FILTER:alpha(opacity=60);-moz-opacity:0.6;
}
.navlink
{
text-decoration:none;
color:#666666;
font-family:verdana,arial,sans-serif;
font-size:10px;
font-weight:bold;
}
.navlink:hover
{
text-decoration:underline;
font-weight:bold;
color:#006699;
}
.navlink:visited
{
font-weight:bold;
}

#dropmenudiv a{
width: 100%;
display: block;
text-indent: 3px;
}

#dropmenudiv a:hover{ /*hover background color*/
font-weight:bold;
color:black;
background-color:#f3c132;
}

</style>
