Accessing Movie Clip in Flash

Hi Guys,

I'm working on reporting component for that i have a separate movie clip for each states which contain map of that state, name of mc are state symbol e.g. AK DC etc

Then i create another movie clip for USA which contain all the movie clips of states on 1st frame separate layers.

now i want object of state movie clip in USA movie clip on action script layer.

i m using Flash CS4 (reason i will export this USA mc to flex 3 Movie Clip)

My apologies... I am not exactly sure what you are after. It sounds like you want to move a movie clip to a different layer?
