RTE function of readonly() give error in firefox

hi dear

i download and install script of rich text editor for text area.its working is really good.but when i use function name.readonly() in firefox its gives an error and produce alert message ("Error executing command.").Can you help me.thanks in advance

If I change things on the archive's demo page to:

I get no error in FF.
