AnyLink CSS Menu w/ image rollovers?

Is it possible to modify the anylink css menu, so that the drop down menu items are two-state images instead of text?

I've already substituted my original image for the text, but am unsure how or where to put the rollover code and if it would interfere with the menu.

i just tried using the domrollover script inside the anylink menu, and the rollover states just don't happen. they work elsewhere on the site, but not embedded into the menu. any ideas?
