1) Script Title:
Apple style Accordion Menu

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ddaccordionmenu-apple.htm

3) Describe problem: When submenu with the most entries is expanded, the menu overruns(?) the rest of my webpage in Firefox or Safari. Said another way, if I expand the menu out the farthest possible, it expands over the top of the rest of my page, instead of the page shifting down to accommodate it. There are no problems in IE, but firefox and safari now have text overlaying text whenever it is open.

Any suggestions?

It seems your parent container has an explicit height set. When the menu expands, it spills over as a result.

You parent DIV looks like:

<DIV class="glossymenu" style="width: 378px; height: 395px">
replace with:

<DIV class="glossymenu" style="width: 378px; height: 100%">

the height is not fixed, and should be 100%.

paste the code and you are done :)
