Enabling file/print sharing capability

Network card installation help: --The hard drive doesn't have any file/printer sharing capability. Problem: how do you install the file/printer sharing capability?

The HDD is just a box. It does what it's told (power on and spin) by the MoBo, and relays it's information to the BIOs. and sends all the little 1's and 0's up through all the components and eventually you see those on your monitor.

Your Operating System is what's wrong not the harddrive. (obviously, unless the harddrive is broken) but missing files or .dll's etc aren't the fault of hardware.
