Animated images in Featured Content Slider?

3) Describe problem: My client is asking:

A couple of Quick quesitons - can the Content Slider handle animated pix? I'm going to put primitive animation in a few of the ads if it can. Also, is there a top limit for the number of pix we can have in the slider? I notice most places usually have between 7-10 slides for the area.

Is it possible to use animated images in this? And how many images in general can we use?

Do you mean display animated gifs within the slides? If so, I don't see why not, though you can simply find out for yourself, by making sure the animation doesn't stop when switching to a different slide then back.


Also, is there a top limit for the number of pix we can have in the slider? I notice most places usually have between 7-10 slides for the area.

There's no limit, no, though more slides equals more pagination links needed to select them, which depending on your page's layout may not look right.
