I just wanted to know what the 'D' stands for in 'DHTML'.

Well, DHTML in whole stands for Dynamic HTML, and refers loosely to the use of HTML, CSS, and scripting such as JavaScript together to create an interactive user experience.

No, it's a technical term.
Not just used on this site. The site was named after DHTML, not vice versa :p
