Cross browser Marquee II

I have the Cross browser Marquee II script - from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/cmarquee2.htm - and have links using it.
I want to put this on two pages<---Heres the problem (I don't want to have to keep updating it.)

Where does "cross browser" come into this?
