Advanced RSS Ticker (Ajax invocation) Update Ticker-Object without page refresh

3) Describe problem:
- Once having installed the ticker everything is working fine
- After an update (refresh) of the page depending on cachetime new content is added (as it should)

But:
I wonder how the ticker-objects may be updated after a certain time (e.g. cachetime) without refreshing the page where the tickers reside.

The idea is having the page itself loaded once and the ticker content updated after a certain amount of time.

This has been asked before actually. There's currently no easy way to do this unfortunately. It is on my short list of potential new features to add to the script the next time it's updated, probably within the next couple of months.

I'm trying, but my js knowledge is limited.

I've tried to call refreshContent every 5 seconds, but this
doesn't work.
