Hi there,

I'm really pleased to have found the DHTML ticker on Dynamic Drive (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/prohtmlticker.htm) and it suits the task almost perfectly, but I would just love (actually client has asked) for the text to also fade in and out.

My Javascript skills are pants unfortunately. Does anyone know of a pre-existing script that would do the job, or is there anyone out there who could give me a price to write it, using the above as the starting point?

Many thanks,
Zoe

You can try using Featured Content Slider (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/featuredcontentslider.htm) instead, set it to auto rotate, plus do not define any pagination links, by setting the parameter "toc" to "markup".

Excellent! That's a fantastic script. Thank you.

I'm having just a tiny problem with it. It's probably because I've messed with the settings, but the previous content is taking too long to fade out, making it look jerky (http://www.positiveorg.com/test/). Is this just par for the course, or is it tweakable?

Thanks again
