Date stamp on entry

Hi.

I'm sure this will be very easy for somebody with a good basic level of proficiency in js.

I'm working with a webform and would like to record the time of entry onto the page. Not on exit time but when the page was opened.

Alternatively capturing the exact length of time spend on a page h:m:s would be good if that's possible.

Record where? Javascript will not make any lasting record of anything. So unless you would be happy with a transient variable or cookie (both cookies and variables in javascript are and/or can be extremely short lived, and this behavior is beyond the designer's control in various ways), you should use a server side language for this. Do you have PHP or asp available to you?
