Hi Everyone.

I'm a complete noob at javascript, but I do have experience in HTML and CSS so I know about copying and pasting stuff (hint hint ;)
I dont mind if I need to edit the script a little to suit, but i'm a bit nervous about a lot of coding.

Anyway, I'm looking for a horizontal menu/tab script (preferably JQuery).
I've searched Google and came up with nothing (I found some cool horizontal sliders, navigation menus and drop down menus but nothing that fits my needs).

The main buttons would need to stay in one place, with the sub menus/slides popping out from the top of each button when pressed, and returning when the mouse is moved out of the sub menu/slide.

Is there such a script? is it even possible?

Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks, IC

Hi Jon.
I always seem to make things more difficult than I mean them lol.
It would basically be like a regular top/tab menu, but sliding up instead of down (see examples below).
It would need to have 4 buttons, set out in a horizontal row. Each button would have a different sub menu/slide that slides up when the initial button is hovered over, and closes when the mouse moves out of it.

I haven't seen any sites that use this menu style, so I don't know if it's possible, but im sure a nice person might give it a go ;)

example 1 (basically this menu system):

example 2 (simple JQuery slider that has the same kind of effect):

Any help or advice you can give would be great.
Thanks
Dan
