IE6 and IE7 display problem on menu headers

3) Describe problem:

This problem does not occur on Firefox 2, 3, or Chrome
It does show under IE7 under XP and IE6 running under Wine and Linux

I'm integrating the menu into the site at the above URL.

When the cursor is hovered over the main menu options (Home,Resources,News,Search) the top half of the menu item has a background color of white as opposed to the light blue which is what is wanted.

Any help gratefully received <g>

Fixed - forgot to set the background properly. Strange it only shows up in IE though.
