Page Flip Software

HI all

I'm looking for a solution to enable us to convert our PDF publication into a page flip version and have come across and trialed 3D Issue (http://www.3dissue.com/) but at 1300EUR or 2500AUD for the software up front it is somewhat out of our price range so I am asking if anyone knows of another piece of software that will do something very similar but is a tad less costly.

I am not interested in online services or hosted solutions, we want to convert it ourselves off line and add it to our site each edition (monthly).

We have also looked at other options like Flash Page Flip (http://www.flashpageflip.com/BasicXML.asp) but that will require modifications to enable us to add a content page and search etc, plus it also requires us to convert from PDF to SWF and then add it to the FPF.

I'd prefer a software package like 3D Issue and hopefully there is a better, equivalent less costly alternative that you can recommend.

My suggestion would be to go the PDF to SWF route and then use one of the hundreds of page-flip solutions available on the net. Many of these are free or very nominally priced.

Agreed that there are many solutions like your suggesting, however the 3dissue solution is by far the easiest to use by a novice. Having to do the conversion to swf using the method described in that link may be simple enough for coders, however it is not the best way for a novice.

Anyone else have some suggestions?
