Hi folks,
Despite putting descriptive titles for my portfolios pages in the title tags of my HTML, and them showing up fine at the top of said pages in the browser and on line, I am still having issues! Whenever I google my websites name, I come up with an Untitled Document. I don't know what else I can do about this. Any ideas?
The site is at www.scotthgfindlay.com
Thanks,
Scott

It takes time for Google to index your site. High profile sites can sometimes be indexed within minutes of being updated, but sites with lower traffic can sometimes take a few weeks to be indexed.

Thanks, I never knew that! My site would not be considered "High Profile" so I guess I have a wait in store!
How do I go about increasing the profile of my site, or even checking if people are viewing it?

Thanks again,
Scott

By "incresing the profile" of your site, I'm assuming you are talking about making it more "relevant" to the search engines. In which case I would say that you need to google the term "SEO" (Search Engine Optimization)

Also, if you would like to see traffic reports and so forth... I would recommend using Google Analytics to monitor traffic sources, unique visitors, visitor locations, web browsers, OS, etc...
