Installing PHP & Mysql

hi,

There is already a software that needs apache and mysql. Now, if I try to install PHP+Mysql+Apache bundled software then it says apache cannot be started other software using port already.

Please tell me how to install php and use the existing mysql and apache. My system is a thin client server and m using 2x thin client server software.

After you've installed the bundle, find your httpd.conf file. You can edit the ServerName directive to use a different port.

By default, it's probably set thusly:


ServerName localhost:80

[thetestingsite]

Or, simply download the php binaries from php.net and follow the install guide for your system by going to the following link:

http://php.net/install
