Customizing RSS Ticker feed...?

3) Describe problem: I would like to customize each feed for specific topics. For instance, if I was using the CNN feed, I would like to gather all information related to "football" or information related to "business". Is this possible?

It really depends on whether CNN has specific feeds on specific topics. I know for example they do for broader categories such as "Sports" or "Business". So you'd simply find the URL to those feeds, and input them into the script.
