Drop Down Tabs (5 styles) not rendering correctly in IE7

3) Describe problem: The script works great in Firefox, Opera & Safari but when I tested it in IE7 (I haven’t tested IE6 yet) I found the “selected” tab bottom border is not being styled white so its not appearing as a tab. I tested the demo files unaltered from Dynamic Drive and it worked, but I can’t figure out what I’ve changed in my styles to make it not work in IE7.

Something else within your CSS is taking precedence over the rules for the drop down menu. Try explicitly specifying the precedence for the later, for example by:


.droptabsdiv a:hover{ /*THEME CHANGE HERE*/
background-color: #333333 !important;
color:#FFFFFF !important;
}

Thanks ddadmin. I understand what you are saying but I can't find the CSS taking precedence. I think I will have to go class by class and compare my CSS to the CSS from the DynamicDrive site to see where I may of stuffed up.

I found the problem.

I thought you might like to know, the issue was that I specified a width for the main DIV containing the tabs. I've taken the width away and its working in IE now, but now I have a gap in the bottom border of the DIV which I need to sort out.

Issue resolved with margin-right:-10px; on the main DIV containing the tabs.
