as Twey said in the other post regarding Chrome, at best it's a Beta release, and before it has its first major update build released, it really shouldn't be used for anything anywhere remotely sensitive.

Chrome is fast. I would recommmend downloading it after it has been debugged over and over again. Soon it will be NEAR perfection. As for now, FF is the way to go.

I don't know, FF just feels much more solid overall than Chrome, and with all the useful plugins for it, FF does more for me than browse the web. Apart from the sheer speed, what else does Chrome triumph FF at?

And when will it be available for other systems?
I'm very disappointed with google in that they don't seem to release non-windows versions of much of their desktop software. I'm STILL waiting for googletalk for mac. (And I'm sure the linux people are too.)

Oh, and have you heard about FF3? Mozilla is releasing a free download. I think it may be beta...

But Daniel is right. Google doesn't seem to release much software compatible with other systems. :(

This thread was originally spam, so I've extracted the conversation that sprung up around it and deleted the original.

Firefox 3 has been stable for quite a while now, and Mozilla are working on 3.0.2 already.
